Guess who's coming to town?

Get the kids and family together and head down to the 5th Annual Rogers Santa Claus Parade on Sunday Dec 7th @ 1:00pm for a wonderful start to the holiday season. As last year we will be participating in the parade with a few of our vehicles decorated up in Christmas style. This year we where very happy to hear that we where selected to also provide assistance in key parade positions. We look forward to seeing you all there and try and guess which Christmas costume I'm in. I have provided some information collected off the official parade website for your convenience. See you there!

What to Wear

* Go for classic west coast style (fleece, waterproof jackets and comfortable waterproof footwear).
* Dress in layers to keep warm.
* Remember that umbrellas will unfortunately block the view, so please leave them at home.

Parade Etiquette

Secure your spot on Santa’s nice list! Follow these Rogers Santa Claus Parade protocols

* Respect parade officials. Your safety and that of your family is paramount. Obey all instructions to avoid Santa’s naughty list!
* S marks the spot - someone else’s that is! Never move or occupy an empty chair. This curbside spot has been reserved.

Consider others

* Wear your rain gear. Umbrellas block the view.
* Be nice. Allow families with children to sit in front. We short people appreciate it too!
* Say “excuse me” or “I’m sorry” if you bump or step on someone in the crowd.
* Don’t smoke.
* Property…a respectful reminder: climbing on or sitting atop anything belonging to Global TV, Canada Post, dumpster companies, et al is a definite don’t!

Thank you once again!

I would like to start off by thanking all our past and present clients, because without the trust and loyalty of our clients and consumer feedback I don't know if we would of been voted, 2nd year in a row, the best Security Guard Company in the province of British Columbia by the Consumers Choice Institute of Canada.

The Consumer Choice Award is unique to North America with a purpose to publicly identify those establishments which have been voted by consumers as being their choice for excellence in quality, service, value and appearances. The winners are determined by consumers and not by a panel of judges.

The Award ceremony was held on Nov 23 2008 at the Westin Bayshore on the scenic Coal Harbour shoreline and was hosted by Global TVs personalities Mark Madraga & Robin Stickley and to be televised early next year on Global. I attended the Ceremony with my Director of Advance Services, Ashley Meehan and Director of Community Services Dave Sukic.

Thank you to everyone that voted for us and I promise to continue on with our strong belief in Customer care and service.

What did Madonna and Halloween have in common this year?

Hello Everyone,
I'm sorry for posting this a little later than usual, but it has been an extremely busy week for us coming of this past week. Well, the answer to my question if you hadn't guess is us! The Genesis Security group. We where out in numbers last Thursday at BC Place with 150 Genesis Security's special event team ensuring everybody coming to the concert had a great experience. The staff enjoyed themselves as did the approximately 60,000 concert attendees. Genesis Security was out again the following night, Halloween night providing our services to to evening festivities and as well our Community patrol on the Vancouver's West side. I want to personally thank everyone that offered us a wave and thank you for being out that night. Thank you once again and we'll see you all again next year.
